Physics Professor Dr. John Hagelin elegantly explains the science of Peace in this 5.37 minute video. I was first introduced to Dr. Hagelin’s work in 2000 at a Business and Consciousness seminar in Acapulco. He is also featured in the film What the Bleep Do We Know where we learn of the study done by 4000 meditators in Washington D.C., resulting in a 25% reduction in crime.

Many thanks to Stamford Hospital’s Health & Fitness Institute for letting us use the beautiful Brace Auditorium for these films.

My latest offering has been Louise Hay’s, “You Can Heal Your Life” the movie. Over 80 people came to view the film and many have thanked me, and asked when I might show it again. I’m working on it and will let you know very soon.

I began sharing films in a small conference room at the Tully Health Center in early 2007. The first film was “The Secret” which introduced everyone to the law of attraction, but left some feeling incomplete due to the materialistic slant the film’s producer Rhonda Byrne gave it. Yet it gives us an opportunity to look at ourselves and what we focus on. The last part of that film informs us that our happiness cannot rely solely on monetary gain or collection of things, but in our understanding of ourselves, and our connection to each other first and foremost.

Louise Hay’s film, brings us back to self, and asks us to get clear. Am I willing to change? Can I forgive all? Do I love, and accept myself completely? This is our work.

Thank you for coming! I thought it would be great to have this space to discuss concepts in the films I’ve been showing. We live in fluctuating times, and there is a need to find our center in the midst of it all. In the past year we have been introduced to a new breed of films. I’ve heard the term “edutainment” and “new thought” used to describe them. What I love most about them is that they have taken years of study and put them into 90 minute capsules that inspire us to learn more. It’s not that this information isn’t out there. We just aren’t taught it in schools, or in the media. Now our sciences are catching up to what the ancients have told us for eons. Every day we are making profound leaps and bounds in our understanding of this web of life we weave. It is up to us as individuals to seek out the truth, and keep asking the important questions. We are all amazing works in progress. Individually and collectively. My aim is to keep sharing what I have learned, and to keep learning from you. Love, light and truth, Vivian
